About Me
Founder and designer of Hanbok Australia,
creating handmade hanboks inspired by tradition and modern life.
Each piece is crafted with care, balancing timeless design with personal expression, and reflecting the beauty of
Korean colours, fabric, and silhouette.
Through my work, I hope to share the elegance of hanbok
beyond special occasions and connect people
with Korean tradition across cultures.

Inspired by Saekdong
- Saekdong, the colourful stripes often seen on the sleeves of children’s hanbok, carries meanings of protection,
blessing, and joyful celebration. Rooted in the philosophy of Obangsaek — the five symbolic colours of Korean tradition —
these colours represent harmony and balance, which I reinterpret in a modern context through my designs.
Sharing Hanbok Beyond Design
Beyond my design work, I am also the founder of Hanbok Culture Australia Inc.,
a non-profit organisation dedicated to sharing and celebrating Korean culture in Australia.
Through community events, workshops, and cultural programs, I aim to make hanbok
more accessible and meaningful, connecting people with Korean tradition beyond the garment itself.
Through both my design and community work, I hope to share the beauty of hanbok
in a way that feels personal, meaningful, and timeless.
